Supervisor
Clinical supervision is an essential part of professional growth. While required early in one's professional career, meaningful and well matched clinical supervision can expand even a seasoned clinician's perspective on themselves and the care they are providing. Mara's supervision style is warm and supportive, while also offering valuable feedback on difficult cases. Mara is available for in-office, phone, or video supervision.
Mara was trained at Smith School for Social Work and holds a certificate in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy from Boston University. Mara has been a practicing clinician in the Boston area since 2001. In addition to her private practice and adjunct faculty position at Northeastern University (2006-2020), Mara does trainings and workshops for clinicians, childbirth professionals, and families.
